The Pilton Stage work closely with the Pilton Village Trust to deliver on certain objectives aimed at making the whole building the vibrant heart of the village we know locals want.

We share the same objectives as the Pilton Village Hall Trust and these form a very important part of our contract with them.

THE PROVISION AND MAINTENANCE OF A VILLAGE HALL FOR USE BY THE INHABITANTS OF THE AREA OF BENEFIT WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS, INCLUDING USE FOR: (A) MEETINGS, LECTURES AND CLASSES, AND (B) OTHER FORMS OF RECREATION, SPORT AND LEISURE-TIME OCCUPATION, WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE INHABITANTS.

We want to improve on how local groups are catered for to ensure a continuous harmonious relationship with our current user groups. We have already reached out to our historic users and potential users to help increase the vibrancy of the village hall and whole building.

We regularly meet with local groups, clubs and organisations and would welcome any and all input from individual users of the building. We know events in the bar area will help support the whole building but its not all about music events rest assured we have a village hall that’s as important to us as it is you.

We are working on our long-term plan to achieve these objectives and we have an obligation to do that and to try to engage with the whole community, alongside the Trust to make sure we are listening to what the village wants from the village hall.
